Christine. That takes me back. Haven't read a horror book in ages but I'm planning to read I Remember You by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir

I just finished Midnight Riot (the title was changed for US release I guess). I'm not sure it totally fit Mystery's but its a good Mystery with a touch of fantasy.
I'm reading The Strange Death of Fiona Griffiths, by Harry Bingham. The 1st in the series was pretty good, the 2nd stank. Hope Harry (or maybe I mean Fi) is back to previous form.

I love Elly Griffiths normally but this one fell a little short. I am really enjoying Exile

Book 2 of the Garnet Hill Trilogy. I am really enjoying it so far, can't put it down.

The kindle and e-readers in general are a beautiful thing but I kind of miss the books in every room of the house decor!
BTW-did England shut down for Easter. I miss David!

No I'm here Mary, Just had a rush on at work before the Easter closedown. Nice to know you missed me though, thanks."
Have a Happy Easter...:)

Tommy and Tuppence no 1 Set in England after the First World War , so far more like a spy novel than a mystery

I just finished The Outcast Dead as well, and I really enjoyed it. I rather thought this was a a "springboard" book - one in which old story lines are finished up while new ones are born. Really looking forward to the next one.

Saints of the Sha..."
It sounds interesting, but this book is the 19th of the series and I lost the previous. Should be read all in chronological order?

The thing about reading them in order is you get to follow Rebus through his career and his ups and downs and getting ol..."
I think it would be a good idea begin with the first and go on.
Thanks.

THE ART OF LOVE IS NEVER A SCIENCE
MEET DON TILLMAN, a brilliant yet socially challenged professor of genetics, who’s decided it’s time he found a wife. And so, in the orderly, evidence-based manner with which Don approaches all things, he designs the Wife Project to find his perfect partner: a sixteen-page, scientifically valid survey to filter out the drinkers, the smokers, the late arrivers.
Rosie Jarman is all these things. She also is strangely beguiling, fiery, and intelligent. And while Don quickly disqualifies her as a candidate for the Wife Project, as a DNA expert Don is particularly suited to help Rosie on her own quest: identifying her biological father. When an unlikely relationship develops as they collaborate on the Father Project, Don is forced to confront the spontaneous whirlwind that is Rosie—and the realization that, despite your best scientific efforts, you don’t find love, it finds you.
--I'm trying something new this week. This was recommended to me by my mentor. It has excellent reviews so its worth a shot.

Just finished Piece of My Heart by Peter Robinson. One of the best books I read this year.

My wife and I both have Kindle's but share the one account on Amazon as it is easier. I get to see books she buys..."
Sounds like everything a good book needs! I hope you do nominate it.
