Lol.. I don't think so:-) My sister actually found me a bustier and skirt outfit in London that I switched to (the lacy blue dress was a bit too gaudy, lol)... Just got back exhausted... We got back to the hotel in Brussels at 5am after boogeying with European aristos, la-di-dah...(they're not much fun, lol)... But it was great, 90% of the guests were in these beautiful ball gowns (tailor-made!)... It was in a castle in Belgium, and totally out of time, and gorgeous:-)
So I didn't get much time to read... Catching up today!

but not like if its a murder mystery and the cops are investigating? unless there is a direct connection...
I was thinking almost any Virgin River book would qualify from the ones I'd read. lol I do have a few Murder, She Wrote books to read but don't know if the murder mysteries will count.
We might want to extend the end of this challenge by a few days as it's a short time to read so many pages, and all the american's have Thanksgiving holiday next week and possibly a 4 day weekend for it as well. I'll be cooking more than reading next week.

The teenage granddaughters had never played Trivial Pursuit, so we had fun with that, especially the category that my daughter always calls 'Sports & Drinking' instead of 'Sports & Leisure' because there are so many questions about making or naming drinks that it could drive you to drink - we had pie instead!

We had a great holiday BJ. My boys usually have to go to their father's for this holiday per our parenting plan but he's too broke to afford gas for the visitation so for once they got to stay home. The turkey came out great although the new stuffing recipe bombed. lol (Hint: Not a good idea to use sourdough bread cubes.)We played Trivial Pursuit too but did it a little different. As I love board games I pick up used ones at Goodwill for $1 each. We got out one game board to use. However, the youngest two (6 & 10) played Trivial Nick, Jr. (Nickelodeon version) and their questions were multiple choice and for ages 6+. My 13 year old used the question cards from Young Adults (8+) edition. I used Book Lover's Edition (God that was a nightmare! lol) and my mother used the cards from the Baby Boomer's Edition. We played as usual although used quick game rules, but the game was more fair and fun for all as each person's questions were geared to their age level.
its been years since I played Trivial Pursuit...we used to do it every saturday night (family night - no TV allowed) - that or month long games of monopoly...got to the stage where we know all the genus V questions for TP...so we moved onto the baby boomer ones...all of us...haha! soo much fun! i have the newer version, but haven't had much opportunity to play it...no one will play with me :(

So now there are no excuses. lol
We try to have family movie night every Saturday night. Tomorrow is 'White Christmas' with Bing Crosby while I string popcorn for the christmas tree. And we try to have family game night on Sunday nights. Been forgetting that lately so we need to start doing it again. I was trying to teach my boys how to play Gin with cards. And backgammon. One son just dearly loves Sorry!
