Just to clarify for anyone unfamiliar with the Louisiana Purchase (I know we have non-American's on the list here), these are the states included (From wikipedia):The Louisiana Purchase encompassed all or part of 14 current U.S. states and two Canadian provinces. The land purchased contained all of present-day Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, parts of Minnesota that were west of the Mississippi River, most of North Dakota, nearly all of South Dakota, northeastern New Mexico, the portions of Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado east of the Continental Divide, and Louisiana west of the Mississippi River, including the city of New Orleans. (The Oklahoma Panhandle and southwestern portions of Kansas and Louisiana were still claimed by Spain at the time of the Purchase.) In addition, the Purchase contained small portions of land that would eventually become part of the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

there is also a website called bibliotravel.com (IIRC) and it lists books set in various countries around the world and the US section is broken down into states...but its not limited to romance however - i'm using it quite a bit for my around the world challenge

But now all the information is moved to bookshelves instead of having to find the folder with the state name, so it makes it much quicker and anybody can easily add new books.
Ok, enough of that. Good luck to everyone with your new challenge. This has been the one of the few challenges I've successfully avoided (mostly because I can't commit myself to not acquiring any new books). But I have great admiration for you being able to do it and you have come up with some very interesting challenges.
