I had the fabulous(lol) idea to go and participate in the construction (medieval construction methods, mind you) of a medieval castle:-) This was my idea for my boyfriend's (who would gladly travel back in time and have me living without hot showers, tampons, chocolate and mass market paperbacks) birthday: three days of manual labor.. I just wish I'd thought of this gift when the weather was still warm, lol!

It's really well known for being a party country (I wanted to write "cesspool of debauchery", but that's a little extreme, not to mention significant of the number of HR I read, lol):-) I was only in Sicily when I was 7 or so, so I have no idea what that's like... And from the couple Sicilians I know... Didn't you find them unbearably macho??? :-D
But if you ever come to Europe you'll have to let me know (especially if you're in Paris or Switzerland).. How come you didn't do more of Europe if you were already in Spain and Italy?
As for being jealous... lol, I'm going to be sleeping in a room with my boyfriend and his twin brother in a little old-fashioned non-heated farm... I'm bringing long underwear!
