Went to a dozen garage sales today (a block sale plus a few others) and I didn't find a single book I wanted. My son got a few (Goosebump books at a quarter a piece) and the complete Indiana Jones YA books (3/$2) but surprisingly, I didn't find a single book.

Ok, Dee, do you think that the Breed series has to be read in order? Is it better that way or can the stories stand alone?

Debbie: I read the first Breeds book out of order [b/c I didn't have them all:]. When I was looking for Book Order on Lora Leigh's website there is mention that the books are written out of order so there fore are chronically out of sync. There are the Feline Breeds that are first. Perhaps you can read each breed type separately? I know when I read them I read them something like 2,3,1,4. The series, so far, has a common thread of the Breeds as a species but there's nothing I can recall that I'd say wait and read them all in order. I have even read the novellas as I get them. Unless your a series stickler =D

if you go to her website there is the order...the first 5 are from ellora's cave (first 3 are feline breeds); then a wolf and a coyote...then the one in the anthology was back to a lion breed...i've read Megan's Mark which was the first mainstream one (I think he was coyote...) and about to start Harmony's Way (Breeds, #8)...her website has been all updated and the recommended reading order is up there now

ETA - she does a good job of filling in the back story in all the books, but some of the characters from the books reappear...i.e. the first one is about Callan and Merinus and they have appeared in all but the anthology one that i've read and they were mentioned in that one...
