I know what it is, but I don't knowhow to play. Lacrosse is Canada's failed attempt at a national sport? I guess it .ight be because baseball was taken by us.
Welcome Andrea! I am glad you chose this group. I am Becca,

Well, at least you know that. And yes, it is a fail attempt at a national sport... It's apparently some Inuit game or something, but nobody actually plays it. For further proof, take notice how it's not an Olympic sport, while Ping-pong is...

Ping Pong is an OLYMPIC SPORT?!?!?! *CONFUSEMENT! MAJOR CONFUSEMENT* I thought Ping Pong was just a party game like Pin the Tail on the Donkey!

Oh... Now I remember. How come everything has to sound dignified with important things. Like, they could be all "We are going to sell Rainbow Tacos!" And another guy would be like, "Uh, sure but it has to be called Multi-Colored Meat In a Tortilla."
Thy kill creativity!

I don't know. I usually only join Book groups, but maybe. But in some countries, that might be considered some sort of treason.. Maybe once there is world peace..
Haha, world peace can never be achieved my friends... Unless someone wipes out everyone but themself. But then that one person woudln't be at peace, so the whole illusion would be ruined...

Today I figured out that everything we know is truly an illusion. Most people say that the most stable fact in their life is that the sky is blue. Actually, that is only how we perceive the sky to be. Dogs see the sky as green. We ourselves are just a wave of energy.
Anyway, world peace would be nice. Except you could hire somebody to killl everyone else off, and then hi-jack their car. You wouldn't be as guilty because your justiffication is that they were a murderer,.

Yes. I have officially decided that maybe I should go somewhere I have to work all day. Because between this illusion thing and 9/11, I am going crazy and have too much time to think..
I've wondered that too... By following a similar point of view, it's tricky for us to be labeling people "crazy" or "unstable" because maybe they aren't seeing things that aren't there. Maybe there's a whole other world we aren't apart of. For all we know we could be the crazy ones and the "crazy" people are sane.
Plus, nothing is really "coloured" it's just the reflection of light off of an object. It's our eyes that put the colour there.

We havegot it figured out. We could have some kind of pholosophy group. We could ask dumb questions like, "Are you sure the sky is blue? Because I think its orange..."

Oh! I forgot that sometimes it actually is orange, at sunset. *headesk* Sometimes I don't think.
:D It's all good... So the sky is technically not a set colour... That is a fail of a normal thing... The most stable fact in life is that nothing in lief is stable...

Sas but true. Nothing is stable. Even the fact that nothing is stable. Its kind of like saying you use everything in moderation, including moderation.

Nope, lacrosse is a lot more physical. I've heard lacrosse is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. I know a few people who've played it here in Australia. Me I prefer Aussie football, cricket and basketball (though I only play the last two). Cricket's more like baseball but it's older.
Basically you have a fielding team and a batting team, . Two batsmen in at once and the aim is to run up and down the pitch to score 'points' or runs. You get six if you hit it to the boundary on the full and four if you bounce it to the boundary. It's a technical game (there are so many ways of going out) and it's also a game that requires strategy and patience.

Oh I know. It is kinda wierd, and I have been thinking that maybe everything is just black and white, and then we just invent the colours and stuff. I mean, we can't seriously all see the same colours and stuff can we? So what if we are all just making it up with our killer imaginations?

@ Becca: You actually know what Lacrosse is? YAY! I'm not alone in knowing my country's fail of a summer sport that almost no one plays...
