Yeah, dead people...*shudder*. My friend is looking to be an Egyptologist, though, so that should be very interesting for her. I hope she invites me when she gets to go over to the digs :)

I work for Thumb National (since I live in the thumb of Michigan, they think they are so dang smart). They are everywhere here.

message 56: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) I have to agree, Australia's real nice. I love the fact that we get so much sun. And I happen to live in the world's number 1 most liveable city: Melbourne. Well on the outskirts really but compared to most outskirts and cities it's really good. Plus the country's only an hour or two away via car.

I'd like to live near Melbourne :) MAybe I will move there for uni? But, I reckon that Adelaide sounds nice too; haven't been there yet, but still :)

Hahahhaah omg that's hilarious!!! I love me some Michigan though... I grew up in Chicago and we used to vacation in MI :)

I still think it's funny that Michigan is the "mitten" state... Do you guys sell mittens or something to tourists?

message 60: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
I live right by Lake Huron.

Jamsy, we are called the mitten state, because (I suggest you look at a map or a globe) we are shaped like a mitten. But we do seem to need mittens here half the year...

message 61: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
I've seen it because I was like O.O There's a state shaped like a deformed-mitten? COOL! and it's one of the state's main slogans apparently...

But mittens are cool so it's all good... I also seem to wear the things for half the year... But that's ok, because again, MITTENS ARE COOL :D (You people should start selling mittens to tourists...)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
I wouldn't doubt if some people do. But we seem to sell a lot of mitten shaped bar soap. Oddly

message 63: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
But... but that's SOAP :( a soap bar is no fun because if you use it repeatedly it stops looking pretty and turns into a ugly blob...

message 64: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
I always thought bar soap was disgusting. You are just rubbing off all the germs onto the thing that cleanw other peoples hands!

message 65: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
Pretty much... i like it when it's in those cute little soap shapes, but I don't actually like using it... Plus it gets slippery and I just end up droping it...

message 66: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
And then the soap is even more dirty.... Just thinking about it disgusts me.

message 67: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
Dirty soap... That sounds like an oxymoron...

message 68: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Yes. Ever notice how the word moron is in oxymoron? Because oxymorons are just that! Morons.

Trust me, being 18's cool in a different way but when you finally have the pressure of looking for work, going to uni and everything else you'll realise you have it easy at 13!

That is AWESOME!!! Is it just a yard full of broken planes? If so, that is still super-duper-AWESOME!!!

Airplane graveyard. They don't take the planes apart. Each and everyone of those planes, is ready and waiting to be flown all you need to do is take off the protective covering from the windshield.

These ones are still in use and are just waiting for pilots.
