Ok, I will update you with only 3 items.

I'll be back with my book choice in a bit.
ETA: I'm gonna read

I am going to read:

I have been anxiously awaiting for this one to be translated from Danish and it was just released this month!

She is in another group playing their team challenge and that one started today, so she might have thought they both started this weekend instead of last weekend. Maybe Toni can PM her if we don't hear from her soon.

Lover Avenged by J.R. Ward - 527 Pages.
As always I can't help but love the BlackDagger Brotherhood Series. This is a re-read for me, and once again I couldn't stop reading. I totally fell in love with Revh and Ehlena again, and Wrath and Beth and John and Xhex. Now I need to do an Lover Mine re-read! Lol. 5 Stars.
People:
Celebrity: "I want the rest of you out and searching for him in the city, but before you go, first let's get an update from our very own Katie Couric."
Places:
Cliff: Well, okay... evidently she was staring over the lip of a cliff, and if she went any farther she was going to skydive without a parachute.
Things:
Bed: Trez was in full fighting stance, gun up and pointed At the window, then the closet, then the bed.

Black: Cover

Ack! I don't know if I could go a whole week without internet. I think that would drive me crazy.

LOL, How sad are we. I had withdrawls last weekend being at my parents house not being able to get on line first thing in the morning. I had to wait until afternoon to sneak on.

Review:
A bunch of my Goodreads friends have read and reviewed this book lately and after reading the sample from Amazon I knew I had to buy it. I really liked this book. It's a great take on the Jekyll/Hyde story.
I really liked Mitchell and Eden and I hope that everything works out for them. It'll be interesting to see how things progress given everything that happened in this book. There is so much mystery involved that I'm dying to read the next one to see what the hell is going on. I look forward to learning more about The Clinic and what the frak they are doing.
Color: Green - Location 2405 - real old looking, green cloth-bound book.
People: Single Male - Location 216 - Mitchell is a single male.
Places: Road - Location 1557 - Mitch's eyes never left the road.
Thing: Blood - Location 45 - The only part of her still moving was the blood pooling beneath her body.

The Absent One by Jussi Adler-Olsen

People - Warrior - Carl Morck is a police detective recovering from gunshot wounds received in the line of duty deals with the aftermath of the shooting that left his partner paralized, another detective dead and hisself recovering while tracking down a viscious gang of killers.

Things - Wing - Frightened birds flew from the treetops, wings beating the air page 1
Colors - Green - with her face half covered by a dirty green shawl page 3
This was book 2 of the Department Q series translated from Danish. This summer I read The Keeper of Lost Causes for the summer SRC and it was undoubtedly my favorite book I have read in a long time. Without giving away too much of the plot this series of books centers around a Copenhagen police detective that is given an office in the basement and given the task of heading a cold case squad hence the name keeper of lost causes. I absolutely love the cast of characters in the department and the action is extremely intense and some parts are definitely not for everyone. I give it ★★★★★ 's

I read

I am claiming green, non-human (angel or faerie), metropolitan area (Chicago) and smoke (from the farm house burning down) I finished the book today September 9th. I give is 5 stars.

How about you? How's your week going?

Then I stopped at the library and picked up a book from the new releases bookshelf. I'm already 50 pages in and I am absolutely hooked. Don't you love that? Anyway it is about a group of people in Norway that survive a train wreck only to be rescued to a huge old hotel in the wilds of Norway. They are trapped at the hotel due to terrible weather. People mysteriously die or turn up missing. Think the hotel in the Shining. Great book so far - new author to me Anne Holt.
Have I mentioned this week how much I LOVE being retired?

BTW I did put in 37 years on the job before I bailed.

Lol... I fantasiZe about having a rich husband (free time + money + books). Still have time for it... Now to find him. LOL

I know there are lots of famous landmarks in Vienna.

I fantasize about that as well! sadly I think retirement is more likely. lol

Okay I'm gonna read

Anything else you would like me to look for specifically Toni?

People - Single Male - Gabriel Allon
Places - FAMOUS LANDMARK - one block from St. Stephen's Cathedral cd 1 track 4
Things - Smoke- wreathed in smoke cd 1 track 1
Colors - Blue- framed by a vibrant blue sky cd 1 track 2
This is #4 in the Gabriel Allon series of books. Gabriel pretty much has 2 jobs. 1 is as an art restorer that provides his cover for his 2nd profession as a spy/assassin. With this book he gets caught up in a conspiracy of a network of Nazi officers that have assumed new lives with significant influence in today's world. I give it ★★★★ 's

Famous Landmark:Sears Tower AKA Willis Tower page 1
Color: Blue (cover)
Thing: Wheel - "and the slow squeak of a spinning tire" page 19
People: Celebrity - Seth Tate, the former mayor is first mentioned on page 11
I love this series. It's one of my favorite. Merit is an awesome kick-ass heroine. She's been thrust into this life of a vampire and instead of wallowing in self pity she's jumped in with both feet and her katana. She's grown stronger and more awesome throughout the series.
A lot happens in this book and although a ton of things get wrapped up leaving the reader with the question of where they can go next, the very last page definitely paints a very interesting picture about the future of Cadogan House and all of her vampires. This is one of those series where saying too much in a review can spoil things, so I'll just leave it at love this book and it just adds to the greatness that is this series. I will definitely keep reading and recommending the series to everyone I know.

Just to let you guys know, I'm reading my Week 2 book, and will be posting shortly, and going to my Week 3 book.

REVIEW:
I read Almost Perfect by Susan Mallery. Almost Perfect tells the story about Liz and Ethan. Liz, she's the girl who was born on the wrong family. Daughter of a prostitute and a drunk, she had to get used to not just being poor, but having the whole town lay her mother's sins on her. While she was sweet and innocent, the girls hated her for being so pretty, and the boys because she didn't give a shit about them. Ethan comes from the family who funded the town, and by being the oldest he learned form the beginning he should be the responsible one, and do the right thing. After a public fight with Ethan, Liz leaves town and only later discover she is pregnant with his child. More than ten years later, she's back in town after discovering she has nieces on a not so good situation. Things between her and Ethan gets pretty tense when he discover about Tyler, his eleven year old son, and from now on they must learn how to be parents, and do what's best for Tyler.
What I liked: Liz. She was a fighter, and she did everything she could to raise her son without help from both hers and Ethan's family. I also like how she progressed to hate the town and its people, to being a part of it.
What I didn't liked: Ethan. He was (for me) totally hate material. He was an insensitive and inconsiderate jerk both in the past and in the present. He was raised to take responsbilities, but this only went so far. He was egoist and could only see his side of things (most of the time) and by this, made himself always the victim.
Favorite Scene: (view spoiler)
Favorite Quote: "To the stupidity of men," Dakota said, raising a glass. "And my brother, who is their king." (This about sums it all)
Conclusion: I liked the story. I love Mallery's books and this wasn't an exception. I really like how she goes and create things that feels so real, like the town and the people and the feelings. I didn't really loved Ethan, but he was okay by the end. I read it okay as a stand alone, and being the second on the series didn't hurt that I haven't read the first. I would totally recommend this book.
Rating: 3.5 Stars.

Review: "The Stolen Child" talks about chaseling and a boy, he changed places with. The book shows the life from the chaseling side and boy's side.
I liked the story, but it went little bit too slow for me and i had a hard time to read it, because of it.

Dyllan I am going to accept it because there is another cover that has the 50% green in it. But for future refrence if you are going to use the 50% of the cover color please link that cover.

Thanks Sheila somehow I missed those. I think I have it all updated now, so if you see anything I missed please point it out to me.

Sorry Dawn, I'm not following. I linked the cover on my Items Found by the end of the post. Is there another way to do it? I'm lost.
