Dawn, did you see the post about warrior? Just checking - it's not on the spreadsheet. Post 332...."
Ok, I am confused. what book was warrior in? I see that you added it to post 332 but I don't see it listed with a book review.

I'm not taking sides or judging, just offering info.

I'm a newbie, so be gentle with me :)
I'm going to go back to the beginning of the thread and read through to see what's going on.
I'll check through the books I have read over the weekend and see what fits. I'll be back with any questions I have.

Review:
In Forbidden Jacquelyn has expanded the myth involved in the popular Nightwalker series by introducing the possibility of a further six nations onto the existing six, previous knowlege of the Nightwalker books is not needed to enjoy this but I highly recomend reading them.
The Bodywalkers have their mythology based in ancient Egypt, when their mortal body dies their soul returns to the Ether, which is the place between life and death. Once they have recovered from their "death" they are able to hitch-hike back to Earth and into a new body by possesing a human at the moment of their death. Both parties have to be in agreement though, and over a period of time the two souls will merge allowing them to share a body.
Following an attempted murder, Docia is introduced to a world she never expected existed. Raised by her brother, Jackson, and his friend Leo after the death of her parents, Docia has led a pretty uneventful life so why are people suddenly trying to kill her? The melding of Docia with a Bodywalker occurs after the first attempt to kill her, this invites even more bad guys to try and kill her, luckily for her it also introduces a protector in the form of Ram/Vincent who believes her to be hosting his Queen. Along the way we meet new foes and allies, the plot has many twists and a forbidden romance that raises the heat level.
It's a promising beginning to the series, like all first in series books with such a huge mythology there is a large amount of info thrown at you in this book, it was a little hard to get my head around at times. I was greatful for the distraction that Jackson provided and I'm looking forward to getting to know him better.
Jacquelyn has proved once again why she is a master (or should that be mistress?) of what I like to term "fantasy paranormal". The worlds she creates are so indepth and different that you can't help but believe they may actually exist.

Yes, you got it, just make sure the called item for that week is included, and that the dates of reading match up with the specified dates that Dawn gave in Post #366

For your example, the blue book would have to have been read after 10/5/12, then you could also claim three other items, but you could not claim orange because blue was already the color that had been called.
The color can be on the cover as long as it is at least 50 percent of the cover.
Then the next called item was open space, so your book would have open space and another set of three items that hopefully you haven't found yet.
Lately, the items that have been called I have already claimed, but if I read a book that has the item in it, I can still find other items that I haven't claimed yet.

Since you are back dating you will need to put a start date and end date for your books. The start dates will need to match up to my post above #366. (your example is too early)
To maximize your points don't claim the called items (wheel, blue, open space, wing, mountain) in the same book. Make them all 5 seperate books. Claim the other items listed.
ETA: Looking back did you mean Sept-10 or October-9.

so, is it only the main thing plus 1 thing from each of the other groups and not the group that the item called was in?

so, is it only the main thing plus 1 thing from each of the other groups and not the group that the item called ..."
It dawned on me after I posted that might be the case.
Yes it should be one item from each of the 4 catergories, but the one has to be the item called.
If you edit that post be sure to let me know to go back an count those items, or just repost it in hte corrected version.

My Review:
I really felt for Ian throughout this book. Dani fit him perfectly, it was nice to see her willing to stand up to everyone and fighting for what she believes in - Ian. Her gift is an intresting one that I think may develop into something they can use in the final confrontation with Deirdre.

My Review:
OMG!! How much have I missed Karen Chance? I seriously forgot how much I love this series as it has been so long since the last book. I have always preferred Dory to Cassie but this book has cemented it amongst my favourite UF series.
I was torn between wanting to savour every line and rushing through to the end to find out what happens. There is so much going on in these books but I wasn't confused and although wordy at times, I understood everything being explaine wth out needing to re-read it.
I love stinky and with every bit of the Louis-Cesare puzzle we unravel I love him even more. I can't wait forthe next installment, hopefully it won't be years...
I want that chess set! :)

Thanks, Leslie. I hope you enjoy Forbidden, it's set in the same world but VERY different :)

Week Eight: Mountains/Cliffs (already claimed)Gift of Magic 10/27/12 ****1/2 stars
Mountains (on cover)
Blood (p.21 blood magic)
Purple (p. 120 velvet purple robes)
This is #6 in the Nine Kingdoms series and Ruithe and Sarah continue their search for his father's spells in order to rid of the world of their evilness. It's a lovely story, shorter than the others, but full of all the wonderful magical elements that make this series so special. For pure, epic fantasy - there is nothing better, in my opinion.

Wow! Ok,this book so didn't go how I expected at all. Gena really surprised me with how the story went and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

read 10/27/12 - 4 stars
This book had a lot of infomation in it. The cops were helped by private investigators with links to the criminals in searching for a missing child. There were some twists and turns that I did not expect and the characters never gave up.
There was a movie made but I haven't seen it yet. I will go watch it now that I have read the book. I am interested to see what the sequel to this book would be like.

I am enjoying this challenge. I like this format the best so far out of the three different times of playing this.
