You should start with Samson's Lovely Mortal. The first line just about made me fall outta my chair. *snicker* I hear Masters at Arms is pretty good, too (though I haven't read it yet). I got to know the author a bit, and she seems like a real sweetheart and totally dedicated to her writing. I've found that type of dedictation typically comes across in the books themselves. :)

message 54: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) @Jenny - Will do. I'm really looking forward to reading it as I've heard great things about Shalvis's writing and this series.

@Shosho - I loved Samson's Lovely Mortal, in fact, the whole series is entertaining. The first line is quite shocking, lol!

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Dirty talk? My mind blanked at that and I had to go find that book. :)

@Leslie I've really liked all the Sarah Addison Allen books I've read. Not much in the way of swoony romance, but they're still good. The romance is a little more subtle.

message 58: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments You all had me intrigued so I had to go and have a look. I was going to say something but now everything sounds rude after I read that line lol.
