Book 7: I finished Lady Chatterley's Lover last night. I was not a fan of the book. Talk about unlikeable characters... blech....I'm starting
today.

No. There's not a single likeable character and I was bored the whole time. I found it depressing.

Technically, the difference between Pink and Red isn't color (they are both red) but the value. There is white mixed in the red to lessen the amount (value) of red visible. But, most people do see it as a separate color, enhance the separate name :-D

Barbara ★ wrote: "Too many books to read for other challenges and picking a certain color book is going to be really difficult."I'm with Barbara. I'm just getting into this challenge thing...so for me, just picking books that fit into the challenge categories as-is is a difficult enough task for me. But *if* I happen to read a book that is the chosen color, I'm happy to add it to the list!

Read a book or two or none if you want ,there is no compulsion here , just a little bit of variety and fun added here :)
Even I will be reading one or two only.

Lisa kay if possible , since this is just a fun thing can we add the rule that any bit of blue on the cover will do?? Instead of making the cover predominatantly blue? Because eceryone will be wrapping up their monthly challenges now and may not be possible for them to read additional for this .
Just a suggestion.
Just a suggestion.
I'm probably not going to go out of my way to do the cover colours either, I have too many other challenges I'm working on. But I'll certainly add any that happen to fit.
Just finished seduce me at sunrise and hated it , loved Cam and Amelia's parts though.
I'm going to start with Dance with me by Heidi Cullman today.(Bluish cover)

Hi guys! I haven't been around a lot. I know, bad Aneeqah, bad. But I'm loving this idea with the mini-challenge, ESPECIALLY because my last book that I read was blue, and my next one is as well. Convienent, right? ;)I just finished up
, and am currently reading
which I'm not really liking so much at the moment. :/
I've got perfect reading weather here at the moment, rain and floods and crazy winds all around my little part of the world, so I'm hoping to go do a lot of reading, snuggled up in a blanket! (a blanket in summer, what is this madness!)

Hey guys I haven't been around much because school is kicking my butt but I just wanted to stop by and say that I hope you all are enjoying your books!!
I didn't get any regular reading done today; however I have been reading
which is a wonderful book. It is a VERY big book, so it may take me awhile to get through. Plus, I have to stop and make recipes.
I will, Midu! I made some wonderful cookies today: chocolate-orange-marmalade sandwich cookies in heart shapes. Delish! I had two of my friends stop by on their bikes, who were my guinea pigs, and they completely agreed: a keeper recipe. I took pics and will post in the usual spot.
Where is the usual spot Lisa Kay???
Finished reading
I just love this series! Anne is by far the most positive and the loveliest character in classics.
Still to finish in January :
Finished book 20 this morning -
, I can definitely recommend it! Now looking for a blue book for the next one!
Midu wrote: "@Barbara:which ones?"
I'm doing an around the world challenge so
(Zimbabwe)
(South Africa) and
which I finished yesterday.
I have had to abandon The Death of Artemio Cruz. I despise and cannot tolerate second person narratives. For me, it's worse than nails on a chalkboard. In its place, I'll be reading Journey to the Center of the Earth, which has the added bonus of having a blue book cover:
