Review:
Ok what to say? I really loved this , it was long but I think I've been reading since yesterday morning and only stopping for meals ,sleep and shower and well maybe a few other things. The world building was great except a few things that I didn't like and flow with the story , it was perfect .loved Tayla and E.

The Edge of Never by J.A. RedmerskiRead: 1/6/13
Rating & Review: 4 stars
Camryn Bennett has had enough. Life has thrown a bunch of horrible curve balls her way and she can't take it anymore. So she takes a duffel bag and heads to the bus station. She buys a ticket to...she doesn't know but she just has to get away from her current situation and life.
On the bus, she meets Andrew Parrish, who is on his way to visit his dying father. Their bus ride together allows the both of them to temporary escape the harsh realities of life and lets them live life & grieve on their own terms.
This one was enjoyable and sweet. Camryn was hiding behind a mask in her everyday life, and Andrew was insistent on seeing behind the mask. I love that he made her reveal herself, but I thought it was a tad hypocritical given his secret. Regardless, they were what the other needed and they just worked!

Review:
THANK GOD FOR EPILOGUES!!!!!
A fantastic second book in Lauren Stewart's amazing urban fantasy series. I love these books. This one continues on from where Hyde left off, with Eden having been taken. We join in with Landon and Mitch in their efforts to get her back from The Clinic. Some great snarky lines, not only from Mitch and Landon this time, but the new and improved Eden as well.LIKE , "Landon smacked the steering wheel with his fist. “I don’t know if you guys are going to kill each other, or fuck each other, or fucking kill each other, or kill each other fucking. I really don’t. But whichever it is, just get it over with so we can all have some goddamned peace.”
I just read yesterday, that Lauren is writing a novella about Landon! explaining his involvement in the story can't hardly wait.
CALLED:
EYES page 27 And then, in the middle of a face she
recognized as hers, she saw eyes staring back at her.
CLAIMED:
SHELF page 147 Then, once we get in there, we grab the shit right off the shelf.
SOCK page 18 And then he’d tossed that part of her like a dirty sock, shut her out,
RAIN page 189 And then it started to rain.
I requested for Eyes points. Could one of you check all the items to make sure I've got right ones? I haven't had my coffee yet ;)

Week 7Item: Shoulder
by Susan AndersenRead:13/01/12
Rating:★★★★
Review:I usually avoid books that are old ,I prefer to read the books published after 2000.but this book really surprised me.I loved the characters the plot and the writing and everything didn't happen overnight .If it wasn't for things like "mon" "woo-mon" "Ah" "evah" I would have given it 5 stars. What was Lola's accent anyway?
The funniest thing was James cloths for their date ,pink shirt blue suspenders with matching blue tie with a raw silk jacket and a pink rosebud in the pocket and pleated slacks. and he has ponytail !!!
Items:
Shoulder:He shook his head in amazement as he bent down, leaning over her shoulder to make a pencil mark on the door. (page 159 , ebook)
Glasses:Lola dug in her purse for a pair of dark glasses.(page 156 , ebook)
Rain:"I didn't slog through the rain for four stinking blocks for this."(page 103 , ebook)
Paper:With a sense of satisfaction, she trailed Lola back to her apartment to sign the papers.(page 9 ebook)
Grandchild free, all the time in the world to read!! LOLWeek 7 I read

Review: I read the this for another challenge, as we had just read Master of the Mountain, for the same challenge and I loved it. This story, picks up some time after MotM , and is about the second Hunt brother, JAKE. it is a lot different than MotM, and we learn the difference between the two brothers, a lot that wasnt revealed in the first book, comes out in this one. Jake takes Kallie under his wing on a "one night only teach her what he can deal", but things deepen and the pair start to realize one night isnt going to be enough.
CALLED:
Shoulder: PAGE 5 She tossed her blonde, wavy hair back over her shoulder and flirted up at him through long lashes.
CLAIMED:
WIND PAGE 59 He advanced on her, as unstoppable as a forest fire in a strong wind.
BRA: PAGE 59 She strolled around the room, trying to ignore how snug her bra had grown and how each step scraped her jeans over her increasingly sensitive clit.
SKY: PAGE 69 Kallie followed his gaze to the glow on top of the mountains, the dark sky, and the stars popping into existence one by one
Kathy which book did you prefer, book 1 or 2? It's hard since the women were different and story was so different.
Ez, I agree, they are both totally different, so hard to make comparisons. I really really enjoyed MotM and I guess I was expecting more of the same from MotA. But no. It is really a romance with a bit of naughty stuff thrown in, whereas MotM was the other way around. I was pleased that we found out so much, and especially about the brothers preferences.
I really want to read this series I've had the first one for a while and got the 1.5 as a freebie but I'm a moody BDSM reader and I want to like them so I'm waiting for the right mood

Review: This book was a surprise to me. I bought the audiobook for 2 reasons: It was on sale for $4.94 and I needed an “I” for the A-Z Series challenge. But boy, I got a gem.
Kara McMillan was an investigative reported on the whistleblower case. She was a single mother of a 5 year old boy and been dateless for 5 years. A chance meeting with Senator Reece Sheridan opened Kara up to a new relationship as well as a hot story.
What a well writing story. It wasn’t too heavy, but had enough substance to make this book exciting. I will definitely follow the Investigative teams stories as I was impressed with this book.
Body Parts: Shoulder: “He was still looking over his shoulder.” (Pg. 41)
Weather: Snow: “They’re no good in three foot of snow, and I like to snowboard.” (Pg. 16)
Clothing:Glasses: “A pair of thick glasses weighed down his pale face .” (Pg. 107).
Misc: Sky: ” She knew it just as she knew the sky was blue and the sun would come up in the morning.” (Pg. 250).
This is not going well at all for me. Everything that's been called since Week 4, I'd claimed before. I need 3 weeks to complete given no other common thing is called, and that's more than the rest of the team. Waaah! :'( [/end pity party]Week 7: Shoulder
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Read: Jan 13, 2013
Rating: ★★
Short Review: Well, this was my worst disappointment I think, since I can remember. It's a re-read, of what I thought of as a beloved classic. When I read it again, I found it to be a preachy, moralistic book, which didn't even have engaging language.

Anything past 34 is unbearable. But I still prefer it to cold.
My husband took a photo of his car thermometer showing outside temperature a couple of weeks ago. It was 45 degrees
