Ha ha! This Cowboys fan is married to a Steelers fan. We have some fun Sundays in our house. December 16 should be really interesting when our teams meet in Dallas!
Football....I know nothing about sports so I must admit I picked football because I think that they are hotter then baseball players lol

Oh my, those tight pants....
I'm usually more of a lurker, but this sounds fun. Maybe this will help bring me out of the lurker status :)Baseball for me please.
I haven't done this in a very long time, but enjoyed it in the past so I'm going to wade back in this month.Football for me :)
What time will pairing be released, Kat? Not that I'm jumping around with impatience or anything... *wink*
Ahhh! By the time the pairings will be posted, I'll probably be sleeping (I've been up all night working.)I'm going on a tour today and hopefully I can post the picks when I come back to the hotel later in the evening. If I cannot post them today, then most likely I'll post them when I get back to the US later in the week. But I'll try my best to post them today!!

Wow, Lexa, I get to pick for you again! I had fun last month because we have a lot of favorite authors in common. I'll get started on your picks, and should have them up later this evening. :)
Valerie wrote: "Shoot - am I too late? Baseball."Valerie, I'm sorry - you just missed it! If you would like, I can try to get you in with the repicks. Let me know.

Home Run: Goddess of the Sea PC Cast
Field of Dreams: Beautiful Creatures Kami Garcia
Clean up Hitter: My Soul to Save Rachel Vincent
World Series: Die for Me Amy Plum
First and Goal: Masters of the Shadowlands
Friday Night Lights: The Help
Touchdown: Wrong Bed Right Guy
Superbowl: The Darkest Night
Misskim wrote: "I'm not sure if I made it in time? I hope I did!"You did! Check the first page of this thread, message #3 for the rules and #4 for the pairings!
Hey Lauren, I'm enjoying your shelves :) Working on your list. Should have it up tonight or tomorrow morning.
RUTH ANN!!Hey! Here are your picks:
Baseball
Home run:The Darkest Secret by Gena Showalter
Field of Dreams:Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione
Clean Up Hitter:Kiss of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning
World Series:Prisoner of My Desire by Johanna Lindsey
Football
First and Goal:The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson-- you can borrow this one from me
Friday Night Lights:A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin--you should still read the books even if you have seen the show.
Touchdown:Markedby Elisabeth Naughton--I have this on my kindle I'd have to check to see if I can loan it.
Superbowl:Dark Lover by JR Ward--I can't believe you haven't read these books yet.
Hope you like your pics! hahaha :D
Here are my picks for Jen. Baseball - From Their To-Read (or Similar Unread) Shelf:
Home Run:You need to catch up for the new one just released! The Guardian, by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Field of Dreams: If you build it they will come... Suggest a paranormal romance, A Quick Bite, by Lynsay Sands. The Argeneau series is one of my favorites.
Clean Up Hitter: To clean up their shelves, pick the next book in a series your pickee has enjoyed Demon, by Kristina Douglas. I haven't read this one but I see we both read the first one and liked it.
World Series: So suggest a book set outside the US
Ral's Woman, by Laurann Dohner. This was a hard one to pick, hopefully this works for you. I haven't read it but I have it in my freebie to read pile too. The blurb says kidnapped from Earth, so I guess that means outside the US.
Football - From Your Shelves or New to Them:
First and Goal: Suggest a new genre kind of new author Master of Desire, by Kinley MacGregor AKA Sherrilyn Kenyon. I see you too like her paranormal stuff, you should give her historicals a shot. Just ignore the cheesy cover.
Friday Night Lights: Pick a book that has been or will be made into a movie or TV show. The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It is a really good book completely different than her other series.
Touchdown: Recommend one of your five star reads from this year. Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas. This was reccomended to me in the July PIFM, I put off everything else on my list and raced through the whole series they were all 5 star books. There is a prequel but it isn't necessary to read it first, and it was only 4 stars :). lol.
Super Bowl: The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter, while everything she writes I haven't enjoyed I do think this series is SUPER.
