I think I see what Miles was trying to accomplish here. I’m not sure he succeeds. I’ve read Jonathan Miles once before, in the pages of Dear American Airlines, which I found rife with literary posturing. I went to school, you see, and I suffered throu ...more |

There’s a lot here to admire. The writing is polished and confident, and the worldbuilding is clearly intentional and layered. You can tell the author has put real care into the lore and the structure of the worl" Read more of this review » |

Mercyhurst was a pretty great community to be a part of for a year. I can only wonder what it would've been like for three more. I've never experienced a school merger. Erie itself was pretty great, reminded me a lot of my native Maine. I'm always working on something! Hope post collegiate life has treated you well.
Hi, Tony! Thanks for contacting me. Congratulations on your books! I hope you're well and having a great week. I'm glad you spent a year in Erie, PA, how did you like it? How did you like Mercyhurst? I attended Villa Maria College and Gannon University (during their merger--was accepted at both, started at Villa, graduated from Gannon. Have you ever lived through a school or college/university merger?). Well, happy reading, writing, and everything else, and all the best for future projects! Have a good day. Blessings!Best wishes from Majenta
