T. M. Brown is a Southern boy at heart, although he’s lived and traveled in many states far removed from his beloved boyhood roots in Georgia and Florida. He returned to his Southern roots several years ago while his two sons were still in school and regularly traveled throughout the South before returning to college shortly after his youngest son graduated. In the last fifteen years he has preached, taught and coached in Alabama, Georgia and Florida until his wife and he moved outside of Atlanta and retired to write, travel, and spoil grandchildren.

I've read several of Grisham's story based in Ford County (including the book titled after it), and always enjoyed the details of the towns and farms there. It inspired my stories, although I chose South Georgia and the Flint River basin.(less)

T.M. Mike Brown Purgatory, A Progeny's Quest, the third in the Shiloh Mystery Series, coming May 5th. A young girl learns she has lost all the only family she has known but discovers family she knew nothing anything about. Theo and Liddy become central in the girl's quest.

Book club and book reviewer inquiries welcome for ARC editions for advance reviews of this standalone third novel in the trilogy about little Shiloh. Warning: after you read Purgatory, A Progeny's Quest you'll most likely want to go back and read the first two award-winning novels. If you've read one or both of the previous novels you'll smile and sigh when you come to the end of Purgatory's story. (Don't fret, Theo and Liddy have future plans to find their way into another story of misadventure outside of Shiloh.)

Watch for more news in the coming weeks or message TM BRown direct.

Let me know what you think.

T.M. Mike Brown So many who have read Sanctuary commented that they got hooked from the very first pages... So, here's a sneak preview of Chapter One, introducing Theo and Liddy as they leave behind the shadows of Atlanta and move to Shiloh, near their South Georgia rural roots, BUT...

Pretty sure all y'all will want more after the first taste. Available in paperback or eBook to suit y'all's reading preference. Hope all y'all will enjoy this "Must Read" this summer vacation season.

T.M. Mike Brown Southern-rooted mysteries have a bigger market than one would expect. Stories with small town settings are embraced by a broad audience. Why? Stories like Sanctuary resonates because it deals with relevant 21st-century challenges and choices. Southern Writers Magazine added Sanctuary to its Must Read featured list in the current April/May issue.

I am thankful to my Canadian reviewer at Interviewsandreviews.com
