I am Stephen Wolberius, and I write novels of the dark and terrifying kind: gaslamp fantasy, horror and dark fantasy with demons, ghosts and vampires. I like to throw ghostly folklore in there as well.

My first foray into creative writing happened in 2008, when I participated in a text-based roleplay. I added fanfiction and short stories to that soon after. I took this hobby to the extreme, and by 2012 it occurred to me that I was writing novel-length stories. I had also developed several original characters and storylines by then. I wrote my first novel in 2018, an unpublished historical fiction. My real debut came in 2023 with Night Demon, a grimdark horror story combining gaslamp fantasy and dark fantasy.
