What a beautiful review! I'm tempted to do a re-read now :)
The last page has to be one of the most breathtakingly beautiful in literature.
মুভিটা দেখেছিলাম। তেমন আহামরি ভালো লাগে নাই, অন্তত বইটার যত প্রশংসা শুনি সেই তুলনায় তো নাইই। বইটা পড়া লাগবে।

Beautiful review, Nishat. The language, life lessons, and societal backdrop are all alluring in this read, even as one thinks of how Fitzgerald captured 1920s America so beautifully. Add the love story, and it's hard to refrain from turning each page relentlessly. I'm glad you've reminded me of this book with this lovely review.
