This book is awesome! Award Winning....its rather small, in my pov, but maybe not for a 7 yr old. Of course, this depends on her reading level. might just be a morsel. Its great, simple, has great lessons and is beautifully written. The protagonist is 12, but she comes across as somewhat younger at times. if anything, just let her read it when she's a little older, but its a great book that all children should read at some point.
