I worked my way through 3/4 of the Discworld books while cross-stitching - I think they are perfect, because they are easy to follow and while I love listening, they are also easy to stop and pick up at any moment. Try to get the non-abridged ones read by Nigel Planer (or for the later ones Stephen Briggs), they are great!
