My love of literature - especially historical fiction, goes back to when I was a small kid, immersed in reading the novels in my parents' great library (rather than the boring stuff assigned in school). What I loved about those novels was the idea of history as STORY: people in real, challenging situations, making decisions and taking risks with no sense of how it all might turn out.
Currently working on Doppelganger a WW II Spy novel.
