I am graduating from university soon and I feel that I should move to a foreign country to live as - unfortunately - I do not feel at home there anymore, due to a rather conservative and broad-minded public opinion. At the same time I am reluctant to leave my parents and brother behind and put distance between us: we always had a very close relationship. Having little success in love-life too. I am looking for a book that covers similar feelings and dilemmas, on how to find our path. I really enjoy reading Anna Gavalda, while Coelho I liked a bit less. I also enjoy deep, meaningful reads with a tense and melancholic atmosphere, but an uplifting read is also appreciated.
