Preferable older above 25 year old, smart, witty, not TSTL, with pride...u got the points I picked my books depend on the leading female characters and a good plot with angst even better but of course ended with a Happy Notes.
My weakness plots: estranged couples, widows, h with kids, smart h and independent ones and yet still true to this era.
My fav. authors from Mary Balogh, Mary Jo Putney, Lisa Kleypas, Loretta Chase, Christi Caldwell, Eloisa James, Suzanne Enoch, Johanna Lindsey, Sherry Thomas, to more risque reads like Julia Quinn, Natasha Blackthorne, Sylvia Day, Eliza Llyod, etc.
