I love the imagination factor that goes along with reading (you just don't get that with TV & movies wherein everything is laid out before you). ReadiI love the imagination factor that goes along with reading (you just don't get that with TV & movies wherein everything is laid out before you). Reading requires active participation of your own imagination.
It's wicked cool that by simply reading, you can see so many new faces and beautiful places. I've met so many wonderful characters and I've learned many lessons from them as well. I've had my heart broken countless times--about as many times as I've fallen in love. Some of my favorite adventures include: becoming the second Mrs de Winter, entertaining patrons in the best teahouse in Gion, jumping from a 7 story building for sheer thrills, disgusing myself as a man to fight along side my husband in the Civil War, and going on a road trip with an alien.
