I live in Charlotte, NC and vacation in the mountains of NC. I'm not ashamed to tell you that I live in NC, as it's a beautiful state and I'm deliberately ignoring the embarrassing things happening in politics these days. I just hope it all gets better. I try to keep my life pretty simple. I swear/curse/cuss/drop the F bomb way too often. I abuse the ellipsis...however, I'm trying to improve myself. I practice several types of yoga, such as Ashtanga, Universal and Yin. I sing in the Ballantyne Chorale. I'm embracing my gray hair. I drink Smart Water. I volunteer at South County Regional library several mornings each week. I am immeasurably fortunate to have the best daughter, husband and parents in the world and have to pinch myself every day because I don't deserve them. I have a tendency to start sentences with I; obviously I need to curb my ego (more yoga). After ten years of driving a mini van, I am super grateful for my new car, a white Subaru Outback. Not that there's anything wrong with mini vans... ...more
