Like, has a GR average of under two stars?
Most of what I found was religious or political, but here are a couple that (I think) aren't:

The author of The World Rose beat up some kid for giving him a bad review. Yikes!

The chance that you'll find anything even vaguely decent rated under 2 stars is extremely slim. It takes a LOT to even get under 3 stars.
LOL Yeah I know right? Maybe I should just find the shortest book possible... The bad rating isn't the only part of the challenge. It's a "broaden your horizons" challenge, so there's a lot to it. But that part is the toughest I think...
I'd suggest expanding to books under 3.00 stars, since even those are pretty rare. There should be quite a few in that category that are at least readable, and I can probably find some stuff at that level where the average rating is unfairly low.
Yeah I'd say more than likely most people aren't going to get the 1.00-1.99 rating. The challenge calls for a book with each of these ratings:
0 stars (never been rated)
1.00-1.99 stars
2.00-2.99 stars
3.00-3.99 stars
4.00-5.00 stars
I'm thinking of changing it to this:
0 stars (never been rated)
1.00-2.99 stars
3.00-3.99 stars
4.00-5.00 stars
I would say stick with 5 categories and have:
-Unrated
-Up to 2.99
-3.00 to 3.49 (A lot of underrated books, like classics a lot of people were forced to read in school, can end up here)
-3.50 to 3.99
-4.00 and above
You could also split the top tier, as books with ratings over 4.5 are rare but not unknown (nowhere near as rare as under 2.0). I think at least 50% (probably much more) of books on Goodreads have average ratings between 3.5 and 4.5.
There's already a few people who have started the challenge, so it I think it would be easier just to take our the 1-1.99 :)
