Winnie Odinga Quotes

“STATEMENT ON THE BETRAYAL OF RAILA ODINGA’S LEGACY AND THE POLITICS OF ODM’S OWNERSHIP

”
― Don Santo, Words of a Klassikan

“Baba’s legacy is liberation, patriotism, Pan-Africanism, reconciliation, mobilisation prowess and ODM.

But apparently, when it comes to ODM, even the Odingas need an invitation to enter a house Baba helped build? Ida, Rosemary, Junior, Winnie, and the family are members, not visitors seeking guest passes!

Hii si succession politics tena. Ni kama mtu ameiba nyumba, changed the locks, then invited the owners for a meeting on how to access it.

The irony is deafening. You cannot claim to protect Baba’s legacy while treating his own family like outsiders.

Betrayal doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it arrives wearing the party colours.”
