My WIP is a story about an alcoholic teen who meets death in the form of a girl. She forces him to make a choice; change his ways and live or die from drugs and alcohol. The story is loosely based on a friend from my past, one that made the latter choice. I want to portray the effects of addiction but also the hope for redemption.
