What was the inspiration behind the lands of Faélondul?

Aaron-Michael Hall The actual name came to me before the world was even created. Faélondul started with just two characters (Pentanimir and Brahanu) and an idea. I wanted to create a story that was completely different from what was out there. There were stories that I wanted to read (and watch) that did not exist. So, Faélondul began to develop. It is a diverse world with a host of characters, species, and more. I do not hit the usual Epic Fantasy tropes involving elves, orcs, dragons, etc. There are plenty of wonderful stories with those usual creations. I preferred creating my own. My Desu Beasts are my favorites.
