How do you come up with such amazing plot and compelling characters?

In order to write my characters, I truly have to know them. That sounds simple; I know. But it is more complicated than it sounds. A lot of author create profiles and do character interviews. I feel this is one way to make you think about who your characters are and what motivates them.

Honestly, I just write what I “feel” from them. They are all very special to me and I love them (even the not-so-nice ones).

My plots are usually a bit complex. There is always one MAIN plot and then a half-dozen others just beneath the surface. My novels are not meant for the casual reader. They are more for the readers that love to be submersed within the pages of a novel and read every word. If you skim any novels in The Rise of Nazil trilogy, you will most likely be lost. The amount of subtleties woven throughout will be missed and take away from the essence of the whole.
