What do you think about the changes made to the Sookie Stackhouse Series when it was made into True Blood? Do you have positive, or negative feelings about the differences?

Charlaine Harris I've always looked at the books and the tv show as two separate entertainment vehicles. I enjoyed the show a lot, and since the sales of my books skyrocketed as a result, I have very positive feelings about the whole experience.

Are the HMM Channel movies following the books pretty closely? They seem to be out of order and I liked the Martin/Roe combination, but it seems the books have Roe/Robin combination. I've just purchased the books and haven't read them yet, but I've seen all the movies so far and am just curious to know if there are differences in the romance department.
