Eloisa James Hi there! They are indeed cousins. Teddy/Ward was so much older than Evan, though. And he never went into society. I pictured him gone by the time that Evan would have been out of the nursery. In other words, because Teddy was likely 9 when Evan was born, he would have been in his 20s when Evan was showing up in drawing rooms, but by then Ward was well into his inventing career and avoiding drawing rooms.

I'm so glad you loved it, even with this nagging question! I'm starting a new series in the fall, and I have a Bible started so that I will be very certain exactly who knows whom and how old they are in relation to each other.

Hi, which of your books feature a non virgin heroines or both female and male virgin leads? I love HR but hate the importance on woman's virginity and how the husbands expect wives to be all pure but they can sleep around. The double standards just make me sick.

Hi Eloisa! I just finished reading My American Duchess. I really really really liked the bit in which Lady Peel tells Mr. Kestril to eff off re: cosmetics. Are you as fed up as me with the whole "taking her to the pool on the first date"/"girls shouldn't wear makeup" stuff (all of this shielded (or not) behind a annoyingly patronizing "you look better natural")?
