Hi Nalini! I'm a huge fan of the Psy-Changeling world, and am eagerly awaiting Silver Silence! My question is: how do you choose the names for your characters? Do a large number of baby names books litter your home? :P

Lol, yes! And I'm a serial visitor to baby name websites. ;-) Usually, what happens is that a character comes to me and I have an inkling of their name even if I don't know exactly that it is. So when I look at the baby name sites and books, I'm not so much choosing a name as searching for the name the character already has - I just have to find it. When I do, it clicks. Some characters, however, just come with a name from the instant I meet them. For example, Illium. :-)
