After a recommendation from my sister, I've been searching for all of Walter Mosley's books. Like all great fiction, his has the ability to transport the reader to a specific time and place, allowing a view into a world I wouldn't otherwise know. Does anyone have a recommendation on which of his books you would most recommend?

Edward Ngugi Start with this specific book. I loved it so much. The man in my basement is quite a thriller.
