You mean besides Tarik and Hayli, or Merelin and Yatol? O:) This is a tough question! Mostly because I'm really picky and not very sappy, and there aren't many books with a strong romantic element that I actually like.
That said, I love Thorne and Cress from the Lunar Chronicles, mostly because Thorne reminds me of a young Captain Mal but one who is every bit as cocky, slightly more awkward, and ten times more adorable. I love Beren and Luthien in the Silmarillion...they just have this pure, lofty, larger-than-life heroic grandness about them.
Hm, I can't answer this question without tossing in Anne Elliot and Captain Wentworth. I mean, seriously. I swear I love them even more than Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett (don't hate me!).
Apart from the Cress and Thorne anomaly, I guess you could say I prefer my romances bittersweet, tortured, and deep. :)
