Beth Rodgers
There are certainly others I could name, but the one that popped into my head first is Ron and Hermione in the Harry Potter series. I loved reading about their relationship and how it developed with subtle words and gestures. The way it was explored in the movie versions of the books was well done, in my opinion, and showed even more depth to their relationship.
