Whichever one I'm writing at the time. ;) Because I'm spending a lot of time with them. Anyone who's on your mind that much by choice has to be someone you like. If not, you can always change them. Or just delete them. Of course, the law frowns on that in real life, but in fiction it might just be the plot twist you need.
