Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Alexie Aaron Amelia and Emerson in Elizabeth Peter's (Barbara Michaels) Amelia Peabody Mysteries. They are my favorite because they aren't perfect. They have arguments like everyone else. Emerson respects and fears Amelia's impulsiveness. Amelia looks at Emerson like he is the only man in the world. She doesn't see his faults, she sees them as his strengths. Plus, they are equals in a time when it wasn't common to be so. Bravo!
