Where do you get your ideas to write your characters and the plots to your books? While I know the Crossfire series is your most well known and loved I personally love your book Afterburn and Aftershock. It made me wonder how you came up with this amazing family and your main characters Jax and Gia. I can't wait to dive into So Close when its released

Sylvia Day Katie, you may be excited to hear that a film adaptation of Afterburn / Aftershock is in the works! Jax came from my love of Scandal. :) And Gia is a product of my love for New York and the family of a college roommate of mine. I spent a holiday with them one year and thought about how I'd love to fictionalize a boisterous, loving Italian-American family like theirs.
