Earlier you had mentioned some of your favorite PNR/Urban Fantasy books and authors (you have very good taste). I'm curious, are there books/authors in other genres that you would highly recommend? Also, do you run into scenarios where you meet an author you like and realize they like your books as well?

I've listed some other recommends in mystery/sf/fantasy in another question below, but I can never pass up an opportunity to do more recommends!
Contemporary Romance: Jayne Ann Krentz , Nora Roberts, Laura Florand (Chocolate series is a great place to start), Sonali Dev's "A Bollywood Affair", Karina Bliss - "Rise".
Historical romance: Anne Gracie, Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, and Stephanie Laurens (just for starters!).
I actually had the scenario you describe happen with Lisa Kleypas. I stood in line at a conference signing to say hello to her and tell her how much I loved her books. She saw my nametag and jumped up to give me a hug and said she'd been reading Archangel's Kiss on the plane! It really made my entire conference. :)
