Do you ever try to find out if a book has a happy ending before you start reading? I do sometimes. Also, do you ever seriously doubt between writing a happy and not so happy ending of your books? What makes you choose?

I'm going to answer this question in parts.
1. Yes, I do! ha ha! Sometimes, the book is so intense that I just can't stand it and I peek at the end to reassure myself. This is mostly for romances. With mysteries, peeking would ruin the surprise.
2. The endings question: No, not when it comes to a romance. In my head, romance = the implicit promise of a HEA. Having said that, not everyone's HEA is the same. For some, it means marriage and babies, for others, it might mean running off together to have wild adventures. Happiness means different things to different people. So it has to be the right kind of happy ending for the couple.

It may seem like a stupid question. but what the hell! All your book covers, I think the UK editions, where you only see the guys face. All the men have scratches on their face, when according to your books it only Lucas as has claw marks on his face. Is it deliberate or just happened?

Hi Nalini, thank you for writing such a lovely series as the Guild Hunter. It's a world I just want to crawl into. Thank you thank you. My question is more about your short stories. Will there be a GH anthology in the future, and will you ever write a Keir centric short story? thank you again. G
