Two people get shot and there …moreThere is no sexual content or profanity but I thought the violence level was a little bit high for a young adult novel. Two people get shot and there is some descriptive details how it looks like after this happens (just for these scenes I would never give this book to a child), they also talk about some violence which occurred in the past and somebody is punished with magic in a very humiliating way (don't won't to give too much away but it is very disturbing). As a minimum age I would say 14 at least but personal I would put it even in the adult section. (less)
