Julia While I can see it being an excellent introduction to the subject matter, note that is does not shy away from the horrors of the holocaust and the tra…moreWhile I can see it being an excellent introduction to the subject matter, note that is does not shy away from the horrors of the holocaust and the trauma is made much more personal by being able to so easily identify with the characters. (the more simple a character design, the more we project ourselves and see ourselves in that character) I do believe that 12-13 is probably the appropriate time to teach them about the atrocities that humans are capable of. Be prepared to have a full discussions and be an anchor as they try to make sense of these historical events.(less)
