What inspired you to write 'Take me on' ?

Katie McGarry Hi Melissa,

This is a tough question for me. I always write my books based on my past experiences and emotions.

Haley was the driving force for me to write this book. I understood too well a lot of her fears and hurts. I needed to write a story where a strong girl ends up in a bad place and she rediscovers her ability to fight in a world that keeps knocking her down.
