Firstly, I love that your books take place in Canada. I bought one of your books because it was on sale and I needed a book to read. Pleasantly surprised!! I loved it! So then I bought all your books and read them all in the past year. I wonder where you get your inspiration? Are they news stories you hear about? Are there any characters based on real people?

Chevy Stevens Oh, this is a hard one. I go into more detail on my website. www.chevystevens.com. But in short, it has been different with each book. Sometimes it starts with the idea of a scary scenario or a character or an emotion I want to write about. My characters aren't based on real people.
