Do people rating your book before it's even out yet annoy you? (This is for those who rate it without reading it)

Elise Kova I view publication as a sort of turning point in the transaction between myself and the people who read/comment on the book. It goes from being purely "mine" to being each individual person's who encounters it. The story, characters, and world, belong to every unique reader. To this end... However people choose to rate/review/comment on books is up to their individual choices how they do so and it is beyond my scope of wanting to or should be able to comment on.
