I read so many fantasy books, and I have to say that your books are by FAR some of the best I've read. I recommend them to all of my friends. I love the way you use literary tropes especially as the characters go more into the high fantasy worlds. They make my years studying literary criticism pay off! What are some of your favorite books? I especially love your books and Diana Wynne Jones.

Letting you know that I did obtain the book from the library and that there are a lot of people requesting your first book in the series. I am so glad that there will be more than just the 3 books. How do you work with the imagination of going through doors and into other worlds, etc.?

Really enjoying The Mortal Word, and was wondering about the future for Irene et al. Might they appear on the silver screen? Is there a reality (hopefully ours!) where your novels will be adapted to film? And regardless of the reality, who would you like to see cast to play Irene?
