I read so many fantasy books, and I have to say that your books are by FAR some of the best I've read. I recommend them to all of my friends. I love the way you use literary tropes especially as the characters go more into the high fantasy worlds. They make my years studying literary criticism pay off! What are some of your favorite books? I have way too many favourite books and authors. Barbara Hambly, Barry Hughart, Edmund Crispin, Robin McKinley, Kage Baker, PG Wodehouse, MR James, the _Journey to the West_, Arakawa Hiromu, Diana Wynne Jones (I love her writing too), Joan Aiken, Kim Newman, Aliette de Bodard, Charles Stross...

A couple of recent recommendations: _Gideon the Ninth_ by Tamsyn Muir, and _Gods of Jade and Shadow_ by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.

I've really enjoyed reading all three books but having tried to listen to them on audio book format I've felt the narrator Susan Duerden really spoils them. Her style is far to "breathy" and sounds as if she's doing a Flake advert. There are some great narrators out there, would you consider a change?
