I just HAD to sign up when I saw you were active on here (although I'm not sure if you are anymore/how old this is) since your twitter username printed in the book doesn't show up? I just wanted to say as a person with epilepsy and in a long distance friendship I nearly cried when reading the book. Is your twitter still up?

I'm sorry not to have replied to this earlier! It's so wonderful to hear from you. I don't do twitter anymore, as it fed my anxiety in a bad, bad way, but recently I've been dipping my toes into instagram with no casualties so far (@fellowhermit) and I've long since been a fan of tumblr (@cuttooothom).
In any case, thanks for reaching out. Epilepsy paid a large role in my upbringing (an immediate family member lives with the disorder), and I was tired of never seeing stories about people like him. I'm glad the books found you!

I just finished Because You'll Never Meet Me and was wondering how much of it is real? I've heard some people refer to it as Science Fiction and others as Speculative Fiction. Is it meant to be a sci-fi book or do some of the 'experiments' in the book actually happen? (Also, is there going to be a sequel?)
