If the sales were good and everything worked out, potentially could Harlequin Teen purchase expand the series and add other book(s) about Addison and other club member? Specifically about Addison because I love her!

Hi Erin,
I thought about this question for a bit before answering as this is an emotional one for me.
If sales were good could Harlequin Teen potentially expand the series to include books for Addison and other characters?
Honestly, I can't speak for Harlequin Teen. They are my publisher. We have a contract in place where I've agreed to write a certain amount of books in a certain time frame. I've had a great relationship with them where we will discuss book ideas and come to an agreement of what those books will be about.
When it comes to the Thunder Road series, they have only asked for three books, the last one being Long Way Home.
If the sales are good is the potential there to expand the series?
Sales would have to be more than good. They would have to be fantastic. If sales were absolutely phenomenal and my readers were beating down the doors for the series to continue, I can't guarantee that Harlequin Teen would ask for another book, but I'm betting if readers were passionate enough about it and if sales were that major, they would possibly consider it.
Writing for me is an emotional journey. I become very attached to my characters and I am very passionate about a lot of the subjects I tackle. I have thought about Addison often since the moment I first wrote her on the page and I've often wondered if there would be enough readers interested in her story.
Of course, I'm forever hopeful that people will absolutely love Violet and Chevy and they'll buy out all copies of Long Way Home. :-)
Thank you so much for reading my books!
Katie

this has been bugging me, and maybe I'm the only one...in Breaking the Rules, Echo and Noah seem great at the end...in Isiah's book, Echo seems to be reverting slightly--wearing long sleeves and is kind of scaring Noah slightly (or it mentions that he's worried as is Isiah) is that part of what Mrs. Collins says that some days she may just need to cover, or is she dealing with more?
