Marguerite is named after and very similar in character to my mother. although, my mother didn't try matchmaking...that I know of. And I just love her to bits too.

I love your books! I love the connectedness between characters and story lines in the Argeneau series. Most of all, I love your uncanny humor. How or where do you find the inspiration for the wit and snap of your characters and also for their very different love stories? If your books could be made into movies or a series on HBO would you do it or would you prefer the ambiguous mystery that books offer?

hey, let me start by saying i love your arganeau series, whenever i need cheering up i read one, my favorite character is bricker, i just love his sense of humor, my question is, is Brickers character based a little on someone you know, or is he just one of the many fab characters in your head.
